Auburn Game Notes

AUBURN, Ala. - No. 12 Auburn softball is set to hit the road for College Station, Texas for a three-game series with 11th-ranked Texas A&M. It will be the final regular season SEC tilt for the Tigers in 2018.

Games one and three of the series will be streamed on SEC Network and available on the WatchESPN app while Saturday's game will be broadcast nationally on the SEC Network. Additionally, all three games can be heard on FM Talk 95.9. Brit Bowen will have the call live from College Station.

First pitch for Friday's opener is set for 6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday's games are both set for 1 p.m. starts. All times Central.

Auburn enters the series at 38-11, 11-9 in SEC play while the Aggies are 37-12, 10-8. Auburn is currently sixth in the SEC standings and Texas A&M is just ahead in fifth.

The series will be the first games ever played at the Aggies' brand new ballpark, Davis Diamond.

  • Auburn and Texas A&M have met 13 times with the Tigers holding a 8-5 advantage including a 3-2 mark at games played in College Station. The teams last met in 2016 in Auburn with the Aggies winning the series 2-1. It is the last time Auburn has been defeated in a SEC series at home.
