AUBURN, Ala. - The 11th-ranked Tigers had yet another successful outing on the Plains this week, posting a 3-1 mark including a 2-1 series win over No. 8 Tennessee.

Kaylee Carlson picked up her 63rd career win at Auburn in Sunday's series-clinching 6-0 victory over the Lady Vols, breaking the Auburn career wins record previously held by Lexi Davis.

Carlson's ERA currently sits at 0.66, which is the lowest in a single season in program history, minimum of 50 innings pitched. The mark is currently the fourth-lowest in the nation and second in the SEC.

The Garden Grove, Calif. product's career ERA dropped to 1.43, which is the lowest in program history. She improved to 17-2 on the season after a 1-1 turn vs. the Volunteers. Carlson's 17 wins are tops in the SEC and 10th overall nationally.

Carlson got her historic week started vs. Kennesaw State on Wednesday as she picked up win No. 62 to tie the record. The Tigers won the game 2-1 as sophomore Alyssa Rivera belted the first of two home runs on the week to break a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the fifth.

Rivera, a native of Eagle Lake, Fla., would go on to homer in Sunday's finale vs. Tennessee to bring her total to five in the last 13 games. Three of those round-trippers either gave Auburn the lead or tied the game.

Auburn dropped the first game of the series vs. Tennessee 3-2 in eight innings, but bounced back in game two to defeat the Vols 2-0 behind Casey McCrackin's 2-run homer in the fourth inning.

McCrackin, a junior from Pensacola, Fla., is touting a .356 batting clip in SEC play to lead the team and three of her team-high seven home runs have come in league play.

Junior Makayla Martin was sensational in the circle as she tossed the first 1-hitter of the season for the Tigers as she struck out five and walked three over 126 pitches.

Sunday's 6-0 win in the rubber game was Auburn's 21st shutout of the season, the second-most in program history and just three shy of the program record of 24 in 2004.

The series win over the Volunteers is the fourth-straight SEC series win for the 36-8 Tigers, who improved to 9-6 in league play. After dropping the first SEC series of the season at LSU, Auburn has bested Alabama (2-1), Kentucky (3-0), Ole Miss (2-1) and Tennessee (2-1).

Freshman Taylon Snow led the charge at the plate for the Tigers vs. Tennessee posting a .364 batting clip (4-for-11). The Chino Hills, Calif. native leads the team outright in batting average with a .402 mark.
