AUBURN, Ala. -- The first game time for Auburn football this fall has been released. CBS announced Wednesday that Auburn's matchup with LSU at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Sept. 15 will be on their network with kickoff slated for 2:30 p.m. CT.

LSU leads the all-time series, 29-22-1, but Auburn has won the last two games at home, including an 18-13 victory in 2016 in which Daniel Carlson made six field goals.

Auburn was 2-1 in the "SEC Game of the Week" on CBS last season with both wins coming at home against teams ranked No. 1. First, the Tigers beat No. 1 Georgia, 40-17, and then two weeks later, they clinched the SEC West with a 26-14 win over No. 1 Alabama. They also played in the SEC championship game, which was televised by CBS.

The game time for Auburn's season opener against Washington on Sept. 1 has not yet been announced.
