BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ââ'¬" Auburn track and field student-athletes Wesley Curles and Dominique Bullock have been named to the 2018 SEC Track and Field Community Service Team, the Southeastern Conference announced Wednesday.

The conference names a Community Service Team for each of its 21 league-sponsored sports, looking to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to his or her community through superior service efforts.

Curles, a recent graduate from Montgomery, was the recipient of the 2017-18 Brad Davis Southeastern Conference Community Service Leader of the Year. The distance runner volunteers extensively with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, East Alabama Medical Center and the Jason Dufner Charitable Foundation, as well as Salvation Army Angel Tree Christmas Assistance, The Big Event, Dean Road Elementary Running Club and Cary Woods Elementary Read Aloud Day.

Bullock, also a recent graduate, has participated for multiple years in service at the Community Market in Auburn, a program of the Food Bank of East Alabama that provides a friendly grocery-store environment for Lee County families in need. The Miami, Fla. product has also volunteered at the Tuskegee Youth Track Program.
