Artis-Payne passed the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the season on his 34-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, his 187th carry of the year. That's the 25th time an Auburn player has rushed for 1,000 yards in a season (18 different players) and the sixth consecutive year Auburn has had a 1,000-yard rusher. Artis-Payne recorded his seventh 100-yard game and ninth of his career. He has rushed for more than 100 yards in three consecutive games. Coach Gus Malzahn has coached 12 1,000-yard rushers in the last nine seasons, at least one every season.
