Defending SEC champion Auburn (6-1 overall, 3-1 SEC) secured a 42-35 win against South Carolina at Jordan-Hare last Saturday night. Auburn amassed 551 yards of total offense and the defense intercepted three passes in a wild game that wasn't decided until the 4th quarter.

Ole Miss (7-1 overall, 4-1 SEC) forced four turnovers at LSU Saturday night but the offense couldn't find a rhythm and the Rebels lost their first game of the season 10-7. Senior quarterback Bo Wallace finished 14-33 for 176 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
