On getting win number two...
"We were happy to get win number two. It seems like every game there is some depletion this is not allowing us to get everybody on the floor. I think the help of Brandy Montgomery, and some of the other freshmen, as well as the inside players of Peyton and Tra'cee, definitely helped us to get the win tonight."
On Tyrese Tanner...
"She is injured. She hurt her knee yesterday in practice. We hope it is not serious. We will see. She is just day-to-day right now. "
On Brandy Montgomery's first time playing for Auburn...
"Brandy Montgomery is going to be a very good player just because Brandy fits us. As you saw her at the top of our press, she does an excellent job at the top of the press and she really does not know much about what she is doing up there. She is just being athletic and quick up there. She can shoot the ball. You saw flashes of her being a freshman tonight. Once she finishes getting the nerves out of her system and actually settling down and playing, you are going to see a different Brandy Montgomery out there."
On having four freshmen on the floor at one time...
"That is scary. I turned to my coaches and I said do not ever do that again. Do not let me sub with all of them on the floor. You have to get them out there. I do not think it is fair to them to have so many of them out there on the floor at one time because they are still learning and everything is still a little nervous for them."
On Tra'cee Tanner and Peyton Davis...
"We told Tra'cee just relax. There was nothing the Jacksonville State post players could do to either Tra'cee or Peyton. They were smaller and kind of just stayed behind them. I though Peyton and Tra'cee rushed a few shots when the really just needed to take their time. Both of them settled down and were able to finish out the game strongly."

On getting the win...
"We started out the first half a little slow, I am not sure why we were so slow coming in the game. But, anytime you get a win, it's great. I'm really proud of our girls for stepping up on our defense. We were a lot more effective, and it was great having those girls that did not play last game come in and make a difference."
On newcomers...
"I got into foul trouble early on in the second half. Once we start playing you realize `she should be here, or this girl should be over here', it's going to take some getting used to. But they try really hard and are doing all they can. Overall, I'm pretty proud of them. Once we buy into it we will be great. If we could grasp the key concepts, it would be huge."

On getting the win...
"Overall as a team we are getting a lot better. We just need to figure out how to come out fighting in the first half instead of having that half time talk. Instead of Coach Flo having to tell us what to do, we just do it. Overall, we did a pretty good job with Ty being out everybody did their part. Our pre-game talk really encouraged the freshman to step up."
On being leading scorer:
"I get very emotional, but I always look to Coach Flo to have the extra oomf. I got frustrated in the first half and fouled too much, I got too handsy. Coach Flo reinforced to move my feet and calm down and just do what she knows I can do."
On newcomers...
"They are adjusting pretty well, it is frustrating at first when you can't get into the system and don't really understand it. But every day we practice and watch film. So, they are adjusting to it pretty well. We are just really trying to emphasize defense and keeping your man in front of you."

Opening Statement...
"The thing that we have to be able to do is put 40 minutes together. We really have not come close to doing that. I was really disappointed with our last four. Because throughout the 36 minutes we had some breakdowns at times, but we the only thing I could have expected us to do. The last four we just kind of crumbled, unfortunately. Like you said, it is about our goal to get better. This was better than our last outing. What we have to do is continue to get better. We have to shorten these gaps where we break down the details. That is lack of attention details. There were many things throughout the game where we did not follow details. When we did follow through with our details, we were really good. Defensively we gave them problems at times, we took some charges. Everything is about building on. We haven't taken a charge all year in competition. We took three tonight. We are taking steps to get better and that is all we can ask for."
On Rebounding in first...
"We did really well. It goes back to details; we did follow through with some block outs late which hurt us. Nobody plays a perfect game at any level. But you want to limit your mistakes. We just have not gotten to that point yet. This is only game two, we have 27 more to play, but we have to find a way to better limit our mistakes."
On how they competed today...
"We competed great, I thought we did a great job for 36 minutes, but the last four we just completely punted it. That is something we have to build on."
Final Thoughts...
"We got better today. Now we just have to get better with each practice and each game."
