On the win...
"I thought we did a much better job in the second half controlling them at the 3-point line. They still shot a lot of threes. They hit six in the first half. We really talked at half time about running them off the 3-point line a bit more and pushing the ball a bit more in transition as well. It was a good night. It's always good to have four kids in double figures. It's also a good night when we are turning people over and scoring off of those turn overs."

On team's second-half performance...
"I think it was really contributed to our defense. I thought we came back defensively in the second half. I thought Tyrese Tanner did a great job at the top of our press, as well as Brady Montgomery and Kiani Parker, came in and did a great job. I think we really upped the pressure. We had two backcourt violations, which is always something we talk about and we were able to do tonight."

On team's progress...
"I feel like some of our kids are getting better. You always want your bench to be a little better because as the competition gets tougher, you want to be able to give the starters a little more rest and feel comfortable bringing other ones off the bench. I feel right now is a good time to give us an opportunity to work a little bit more individually. It's kind of hard in practice because you try to get other things done so you can't stop and clean up everything. At this point right, we can get more individual work done."

On Hasina Muhammad...
"She had 18 points tonight. She had 28 points the other night. I think she makes a huge difference."

On tonight's game...
"I think we played pretty well. We came out pretty well. At the beginning, we let them get threes, they had six. In the second half, we got more focused and only allowed them to make one."

On if she can tell if the opposing team gets tired...
"Yes, we can tell if we are wearing them down with our press, especially their point guards. I know they get tired of us in their face all the time. They get more careless when they get tired. We got a lot of steals during that time."

On tonight's game...
"I kind of expected us to come out a little slow. We had nine or 10 days off for finals. We have been practicing, but it is different to finally get out there and play. I am glad we came out ready to play in the second half. It took a little while to get the rust off."

On halftime adjustments...
"The 3-pointers were killing us. They only had six field goals in the first half. Most of their points were coming from the three, so we had to run them off the line. It really helped and they only made one in the second half."

On the 30-0 run...
"We had no idea. I didn't know. Apparently we kept them scoreless for 10 minutes. That is what our defense does. We rely on our defense. We do it right. That is what is supposed to happen."

On what they have seen from the newcomers...
They are getting a lot better. They are great athletes, but they still have to slow down. Brandy (Montgomery) rushes a little bit, but they are getting into it. They are learning Coach Flo's plan and what she expects."

Thoughts on the game...
"I thought Auburn came out with a good game plan and stuck to it. The beat us on the inside and that was it. Their size got to us."

On preparing for next game...
"I am trying to figure that out. Mentally I do not think my girls were there. I think they gave up. We played a very competitive first half and by the second half I just did not see the team that I had the first half. As a head coach, I have to go back to the drawing board and see where went wrong. Watch the film and recover from this loss. "
