AUBURN, Ala. - Former Auburn hurler Keegan Thompson highlighted the list of Tigers playing professional baseball with 7.0 perfect innings last week. He was named the Carolina League Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season and was also named to the MLB Pipeline Team of the Week.
Below is a list of all former Tigers playing in professional baseball and how they fared over the last week.Garrett Cooper (OF, Miami Marlins)
Season stats (4 games): .143/.333/.143, 1 H, 1 RBI, 1 BB, 3 K
Cooper was placed on the 60-day disabled list on Apr. 13.
Grant Dayton (LHP, Atlanta Braves)
Dayton was placed on the 60-day disabled list on Feb. 14.
Josh Donaldson (3B, Toronto Blue Jays)
Season stats (36 games): .234/.333/.423, 22 R, 32 H, 11 2B, 5 HR, 16 RBI, 21 BB, 44 K, 2 SB
Donaldson was placed on the 10-day disabled list on June 1.
Trey Wingenter (RHP, El Paso Chihuahuas - Triple-A Affiliate of San Diego Padres)

Wingenter made a pair of relief appearances last week. He suffered the loss in 0.2 innings of work vs. Nashville on Thursday before throwing a scoreless inning vs. Memphis two days later.

Tomscha saw action in five games in the infield, outfield and as the designated hitter last week. He went 1-for-4 with a RBI double vs. Buffalo on Wednesday.
Dan Gamache (IF, Harrisburg Senators - Double-A Affiliate of Washington Nationals)

Gamache turned in two or more hits in five of six games last week, going 12-for-25 with three runs, three doubles, one triple, one home run and six RBI during the span. He matched a season high with three hits in back-to-back games at Reading and hit his second home run of the season in the series finale vs. the Fightin' Phils. Gamache also went 2-for-4 in the series opener and finale vs. Richmond and matched a season high with three RBI in the final game.
Trey Cochran-Gill (RHP, Midland RockHounds - Double-A Affiliate of Oakland Athletics)

Cochran-Gill pitched 1.1 hitless and scoreless innings of relief in a game at Corpus Christi last Wednesday.

Braymer made his first start of the season at Salem last Monday and picked up the win after throwing 6.0 scoreless innings. The left-hander allowed two hits and issued a walk and hit-by-pitch while matching a season high with six strikeouts. He also made a relief appearance Saturday and allowed one run on three hits with four strikeouts in 2.0 innings of work.
Justin Camp (RHP, Wilmington Blue Rocks - Single-A Affiliate of Kansas City Royals)
Season stats (18 games): 0-0, 3.76 ERA, 26.1 IP, 28 H, 15 R, 11 ER, 16 BB, 19 K
Camp made a pair of relief appearances last week. He pitched an inning with two strikeouts vs. Down East on Tuesday before throwing a scoreless inning vs. Winston-Salem three days later. The righty has lowered his ERA 1.45 points over his last 7.1 innings and has allowed an earned run during the span.
Anfernee Grier (OF, Visalia Rawhide - Single A Affiliate of Arizona Diamondbacks)

Grier was placed on the disabled list on Apr. 16.

Thompson turned in the best start of his pro career on Thursday, tossing 7.0 perfect innings against Carolina. He tied a career high with eight strikeouts, matching his total from a start against the MudCats on May 26. The Cullman, Alabama, native threw 84 pitches and 60 strikes, and opponents are now hitting just .202 against the right-hander. Thompson was named to the MLB Pipeline Team of the Week and the Carolina League Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season.
