AUBURN, Ala. – Ten members of the Auburn gymnastics team received Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-America honors for the 2017-18 school year, the organization announced this week.
Auburn's 10 Scholastic All-Americans is the most under head coach Jeff Graba and the most by any Tiger team since the 2009 squad had 10 as well.
Tigers earning academic recognition include Sydney Bassett, Katie Becker, Emma Engler, Kennedy Finister, Abby Milliet, Kendal Moss, Allie Riddle, Emma Slappey, Ashley Smith and Cara Stricklin.
The honor is the fourth for Stricklin, who capped her career in 2018. Engler is a three-time honoree, while Becker and Moss picked up their second-straight recognition. Bassett, Finister, Milliet, Riddle, Slappey and Smith earned the honor for the first time.
