AUBURN, Ala. – Fresh off a Southeastern Conference title and the best finish at the NCAA Championship in program history, head coach Nick Clinard and the Auburn men's golf team have announced the tournament schedule for the 2018-19 season.
 
"Coach Corey Maggard and I are excited about announcing the 2018-19 tournament schedule," Coach Clinard said. "It will be a great test and definitely one of the top few schedules in the nation.
 
"I know our players, donors and fans will be excited about competing against the best each and every event. The season is upon us and we are looking forward to the challenge."
 
In total, the Tigers will take part in 11 regular-season tournaments spread across six states.
 
The fall schedule begins Sept. 7-9 at the Carpet Capital Collegiate at The Farm in Dalton, Ga. Auburn then heads to Scottsdale, Ariz. for the Maui Jim Intercollegiate at Mirabel GC, Sept. 21-23.
 
The Tigers then make the short trip to Vestavia Hills, Ala., Oct. 8-9, for the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate at Old Overton. Next, Auburn heads to the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational at Isleworth CC in Windermere, Fla., Oct. 21-23.
 
The Tigers wrap up their fall slate with the prestigious East Lake Cup at East Lake CC, Oct. 29-31, in Atlanta, Ga. The eight semifinalists from the 2018 Division I men's and women's golf national championships qualify for the annual event.
 
Modeled after the NCAA Golf Championships, the format for the East Lake Cup consists of an opening round of stroke play to crown an individual male and female champion and determine seeding for the following two days of match play competition.
 
Auburn opens the spring schedule with a trip to Waikoloa, Hawaii for the Amer Ari Invitational, Feb. 7-9, at King's Course. The Tigers then return home to host the Tiger Invitational, Feb. 24-26, at Grand National in Opelika.
 
Auburn returns west when it travels to Las Vegas, Nev. for the Southern Highlands Collegiate at Southern Highlands, March 3-5. The Tigers then take part in the Valspar Collegiate at Floridian GC, March 17-19, in Palm City, Fla.
 
The regular season comes to a close with The Hayt and Shoal Creek Invitational. The Hayt is set to take place March 31-April 1 at Sawgrass CC in Ponte Vedra, Fla., while the Shoal Creek Invitational is April 15-16 at Shoal Creek.
 
Auburn will look to win back-to-back conference crowns at the SEC Championship, April 24-28, at Seaside GC in St. Simons Island, Ga. The six cities that will host NCAA Regionals May 12-15 are Athens, Ga., Louisville, Ky., Myrtle Beach, S.C., Pullman, Wash., Rhodes, Iowa and Stanford, Calif. The NCAA Championships are set to take place in Fayetteville, Ark. at The Blessings, May 24-29.
