AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn graduate Brooke Rush has been named director of tennis operations for the Auburn women's and men's programs. She will be based out of the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
"I'm very enthused about this opportunity to work with the outstanding student-athletes and coaches at Auburn tennis," Rush said. "I appreciate every opportunity and experience Auburn athletics has given me and I'm looking forward to this new challenge."
Rush is no stranger to Auburn athletics, having served most recently as a special events coordinator for athletics in 2017-18. She worked with Tigers Unlimited from 2015-17, and served as an administrative assistant for the Auburn baseball program in 2016.
A native of Auburn, Ala., Rush received a bachelor's degree in human development and family studies from Auburn in 2012.
"We're fortunate to have Brooke joining our team," women's head coach Lauren Spencer said. "Brooke brings a great deal of experience working in athletics and the hospitality industry, which will be an immense benefit to our programs. Her love for Auburn as an alumnus will help her bring a great deal of enthusiasm to the job, and we're excited to have her with us."
Rush serves as a coach at Auburn Gymnastics Academy and has served as the volunteer coordinator for the Tigers' home gymnastics meets since 2014. She is also involved with the campus chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
"We are excited to have Brooke joining the tennis family," men's head coach Bobby Reynolds said. "Being an Auburn graduate, she bleeds orange and blue and her passion for this great university is evident whenever you speak with her. She comes to tennis with a lot of knowledge, having previously worked with our baseball and gymnastics programs. We can't wait for her to join our team."
