AUBURN, Ala. – Senior defender Taylor Troutman has been named to the Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Week, while juniors Bri Folds and Treva Aycock earned honorable mention recognition Tuesday.

It marks the first time Troutman has earned the national recognition in her career, and she is the third Auburn player to be named to the national team of the week this season.

"I'm excited to see Taylor on the national team of the week," head coach Karen Hoppa said. "She has been excellent for us defensively, and then she added to the games last weekend offensively with a key assist and a goal."

Folds has now been recognized by Top Drawer Soccer four times in five weeks this season, while the honor is the second of Aycock's career and her first since joining the Tigers. Auburn's three honorees this week were the most in the country.

"Last weekend was huge for us," Hoppa added. "Anytime you beat an undefeated SEC team, it's a huge win. We are glad to see three of our players nationally recognized for their performances."

Troutman not only played a pivotal role in a pair of shutouts versus Mississippi State and Alabama State last weekend, but she also assisted in back-to-back matches and scored her first goal of the season against the Hornets. Troutman's three points against Alabama State matched a career high previously recorded during her freshman season in 2015.

Folds scored a pair of game-winning goals against the Bulldogs and Hornets and has now scored the game-winner in three straight contests. Through nine matches this season, she has logged career highs in goals (seven), points (20) and game-winning goals (five). Folds ranks in the top 10 in the country in each category.

Aycock turned in her first brace of the season against Mississippi State and added an assist to record a season-high five points. Two days later, she assisted on the game-winner against Alabama State and has now registered points in three consecutive contests. Aycock ranks second on the team in goals (five), assists (five) and points (15).

Auburn continues its schedule with its first SEC road trip of the season as the Tigers take on LSU (6-3-0, 0-1-0 SEC) Thursday at 7 p.m. CT in Baton Rouge. The team then returns home to host Ole Miss (7-3-0, 1-0-0 SEC) Sunday at 2 p.m.
