Men's Tennis At ITA All-American Tournament

AUBURN, Ala. – Five members of the Auburn men's tennis team are headed to Tulsa, Okla., for the 2018 ITA All-American tournament at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

Pre-qualifying round action begins Saturday, with senior Brandon Laubser and sophomores Tad Maclean and Lorenzo Rodriguez participating in singles in that opening phase of the tournament.

Laubser takes on Emile Hudd of Oklahoma State in the Round of 256, while Maclean faces Jacob Wareti of Ohio State and Rodriguez plays Eduardo Simo of Texas-Arlington in their opening round matches Saturday morning. The Round of 128 will be played Saturday afternoon and two more pre-qualifying rounds will take place Sunday.

Sophomore Matteo DeVincentis and junior Tim Dollman will take part in the qualifying round, which begins on Monday. DeVincentis is ranked No. 53 in the preseason Oracle/ITA singles ratings, while Dollman is No. 93; DeVincentis is also an alternate for the main draw selections.

The main draw matches are October 4-8, with the quarterfinalists earning spots in the ITA fall national championships in November.
