Eight Tigers named Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athletes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Eight players from the 2017-18 Auburn softball team have been named Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division I Scholar-Athletes, the organization announced.

The eight honorees rewarded for their achievements in the classroom include Victoria Draper, Bree Fornis, Casey McCrackin, Jenna Olszewski, Justus Perry, Morgan Podany, Ashlee Swindle and Abby Tissier.

The honor recognizes the academic prowess of student-athletes on softball teams across seven membership divisions. To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must tout a 3.5 grade-point average or higher.

Auburn has placed 37 student-athletes on the prestigious list over the past four seasons.
