BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Auburn guards Bryce Brown and Jared Harper were tabbed Preseason Second Team All-SEC by a select panel of both Southeastern Conference and national media members.
The Tigers were the only team to have both members of their backcourt voted to the annual all-conference team.
Brown was recently tabbed to the 2019 Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award Watch List, while Harper earned a spot on the 2019 Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award Watch List.
After leading Auburn to its third conference title in program history, both players were voted All-SEC. Brown picked up first team honors from the Associated Press and second team laurels from the league coaches. Harper was picked to the second team by both the Associated Press and SEC head coaches.
As a team, the Tigers were voted to finish third in the league - the highest predicted finish since the 1999-2000 season when they were chosen to win the SEC.
