Auburn takes aim at Tavistock Collegiate Invitational

AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 20 Auburn men's golf team is set to compete at its fourth tournament of the fall when it travels to Windermere, Fla. for the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational, Oct. 21-23 at Isleworth CC.

"Isleworth CC is a wonderful golf course and Tavistock does an outstanding job hosting an elite collegiate tournament," head coach Nick Clinard said. "The golf course will be in great shape and we are looking forward to the competition."

The Tigers are joined in the par-72, 7,544-yard course by a loaded field featuring No. 9 Illinois, No. 10 Texas, No. 13 Vanderbilt, No. 18 Arizona State, No. 22 LSU, No. 24 South Carolina, No. 25 Cal, Augusta, Florida, North Florida, Texas Tech, UCF, Washington and West Virginia.

Auburn's lineup for the three-day tournament includes Graysen Huff, Andrew Kozan, Brandon Mancheno, Jovan Rebula and Jacob Solomon.

The Tigers finished fifth as a team in last season's Tavistock Collegiate Invitational. Rebula tied for 11th at 2-under to lead the squad. Mancheno tied for 21st at 1-over and Solomon tied for 31st at 4-over.

Auburn is coming off a third-place finish at the annual Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate two weeks ago. The Tigers closed with a tournament-low round of 7-under (273), highlighted by three individuals under par.
