AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn baseball team completes its fall exhibition schedule by welcoming Samford to Plainsman Park Friday at 5 p.m. CT. The game featuring a pair of 2018 NCAA Tournament teams will be broadcast on WEGL 91.1.
A Select-A-Seat event will be held in conjunction with the contest, allowing fans the opportunity to secure their seats for the upcoming season.

Exhibition vs. Samford
- The Tigers and Bulldogs will compete in a 12-inning game with free substitutions. Rosters for both teams will be available at the promotions booth and on the concourse.
- Samford is coming off a 2018 Southern Conference Tournament Championship and appearance in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional. The Bulldogs return three of the team's top five hitters and its ace on the mound, Samuel Stricklan, from last year.
- Admission to the game is free. Parking will be available in the athletic complex parking deck as well as the first two levels of the stadium parking deck. The coliseum and arena parking lots will be reserved for football and basketball.
- Auburn batting practice is open to the public and will begin at approximately 3 p.m.
- Concession items will be available for purchase at the Home Plate concession stand.
Select-A-Seat
- Fans will have a chance to take a first-hand look at available seats inside Plainsman Park, specifically those that went unsold in 2018, beginning at 5 p.m.
- Fans can purchase season tickets for $195 at the game. Non-Tigers Unlimited members can also become a Billy Hitchcock member for $110, allowing them to enjoy a list of benefits found here.
- Auburn ticket representatives will be on-site at the ticket window to answer any questions and/or accept payment.
- Plainsman Patio, and in-stadium experience located on the right field patio of Plainsman Park which gives fans the option of enjoying a cash bar, returns in 2019. Information on the Plainsman Patio will be available on the concourse level down the right field line, and processing of payment can be completed at the ticket window.
Football pregame recognition
- Auburn's 2018 team will be recognized for its Raleigh Regional Championship prior to kickoff against Texas A&M Saturday.
- Be sure to be in your seats early as the recognition will begin with 24 minutes remaining on the pregame clock.
Auburn concludes its fall schedule next week with the team's annual Orange vs. Blue World Series. The World Series Draft will be held Monday, Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on Facebook Live. The three-game series is scheduled to be held next Friday through Sunday.
