AUBURN, Ala. – Five-star prospect Spencer Gray has signed to play tennis for the Auburn Tigers in the 2019-20 season, Auburn head coach Bobby Reynolds announced today.
Gray, from Boca Raton, is rated No. 36 nationally, No. 13 in the Southeast and No. 7 among Florida players in this recruiting class. He has played in a number of USTA National Level 2 events, and received the prestigious 2015 USTA Boys 14s national sportsmanship award.
"I'm excited to welcome Spencer Gray to the Auburn Family," Coach Reynolds said. "During the recruiting process, it was obvious to our coaching staff that Spencer was a perfect fit within our team.
"His work ethic, determination and high moral character are the attributes that stood out the most. Spencer's best tennis is ahead of him, and I'm excited to be the coach to help him achieve it."
