AUBURN, Ala. – Junior midfielder Bri Folds has been named to the 2018 United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region First Team, the organization announced Monday evening.

Folds is one of 14 players to earn first-team recognition, including 11 from the Southeastern Conference. She is the 11th Auburn player to be named First Team All-Region in program history. This season also marks the fifth consecutive year an Auburn player has been recognized as an all-region performer.

"Bri had a tremendous season this year, and we are thrilled to see her recognized by the United Soccer Coaches," head coach Karen Hoppa said. "She contributed significantly to our success by not only scoring goals, but also creating them."

Folds led Auburn to its best start in program history in 2018 as the Tigers won nine consecutive matches to start the season. The Lakeland, Florida, native paced the team with a career-high nine goals and 25 points to go along with seven assists. Six of Folds' nine goal were game winners, which matched the team's single-season record. She went on to be named First Team All-SEC after ranking tied for fifth or better in the conference in all four aforementioned categories.

Folds, who also scored three straight game-winning goals from Sept. 9-16, was recognized by Top Drawer Soccer on four occasions throughout the season.
