AUBURN, Ala. – Seth Williams and Nick Coe each played a major part in Auburn's comeback victory over Texas A&M on Saturday, and as a result, both players were recognized by the SEC on Monday as part of the league's weekly awards.

Williams was named the SEC Freshman of the Week after catching a pair of 11-yard touchdown passes Saturday. Though they were his only two receptions in the game, the second one – an acrobatic catch in the back corner of the end zone – came with 1:41 left and proved to be the game-winning score for Auburn.

"It means a lot," Williams said. "The fact that they give me the opportunity to go and get a catch like that in the really clutch moments of the game, it really means a lot."

The freshman wide receiver now has 16 receptions for 332 yards and four touchdowns on the season.

"Seth is a freak," Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham said. "He will continue to be a freak for a very long time. I have full confidence in him. I get to see him grow each week. He's a true freshman, but you wouldn't think it the way he's playing. The way he's catching onto everything. College football is a huge transition from high school ball, so I couldn't be more proud of him."

Coe earned SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week honors for the third time this season. The sophomore finished with three tackles, two tackles for loss and on the final play of the game, he sacked Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond and forced a fumble that was recovered by teammate Marlon Davidson.

Through nine games, Coe now has 25 tackles and leads the team with 13.5 tackles for loss and seven sacks.
