AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn soccer's senior quartet of Ashton Brock, Sarah Le Beau, Gianna Montini and Taylor Troutman will likely play their final game at the Auburn Soccer Complex against Minnesota in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Friday at 3 p.m. CT.
The Tigers season will continue in the event of a win, but all indication looks as if the team's second round contest will be against UCLA in Los Angeles, California.
However, regardless of the outcome of Friday's matchup with the Golden Gophers, the four aforementioned seniors will conclude their athletic careers on The Plains as one of the most decorated classes in program history.
In their four seasons of competition, the quartet has helped lead the program to 53 wins, putting them in a tie for the second most wins in a four-year span in program history. A win Friday would not only get them within a game of matching the four-year record – 55 wins from 2001-04 – but it would also tie last year's class for the most NCAA Tournament wins (seven) by a single class in program history.
Included in the four-year run is the program's first Sweet 16 appearance in 2015 and first Elite 8 appearance the following year. Those back-to-back seasons also saw the Tigers set the record for wins in a season with 16 and 17 victories, respectively.
Tickets for Friday's contest are now on sale through the Auburn Ticket Office. Fans can purchase tickets online by clicking here or call the main ticket office at 334-844-4040.
