AUBURN, Ala. – Left-handed pitcher Hayden Mullins is the first of 15 Auburn baseball signees to be announced following the initial signing date on Nov. 14.
"I'm extremely excited to get on campus with our class and the current team," Mullins said. "We got to talk to most of the guys in the locker room on our official visit, and they made us feel at home. Our class really clicked well, and I think that will translate to the field when we get there."
A native of Gallatin, Tennessee, Mullins signs with the Tigers as the No. 27 overall player and No. 3 left-handed pitcher in the 2019 class, according to Perfect Game. The publication also tabbed Mullins the top-rated southpaw and second-best player in Tennessee.
"I just love everything about the school," Mullins added. "The campus is beautiful and Auburn has so much tradition in not only its baseball program, but also the school as a whole. Coach Thompson was also a huge factor. He's one of the best personalities I have met in baseball, and it really shows in the type of recruits he gets."
