AUBURN, Ala. – Travis Odom has the makings to be the Tigers' next talented middle infielder in line after signing with the program on Nov. 14.

"Coach Thompson and the rest of the coaching staff really seemed to care about more than baseball," Odom said. "They not only care about winning, but they also care about growing the recruits they sign into young men. My mom also graduated from Auburn, so it just seemed like the perfect fit for me all around."

Joining Hayden Mullins as a top-rated talent from Tennessee, Odom is listed as the second-best shortstop and fourth-best player from The Volunteer State. He's also another signee who was named a 2018 Perfect Game Preseason Underclass All-American.

"I've played with and against some of my future teammates over the years," Odom added. "On our official visit, we all seemed to just click. Hayden (Mullins) and I also workout together sometimes, and we've gotten to know each other better that way."
