AUBURN, Ala. – Right-handed pitcher Trace Bright will look to add depth to an already young and talented pitching staff after signing his national letter of intent with the Tigers.
"I've always been an Auburn fan growing up, but the environment is like no other," Bright said. "I saw a great opportunity in Coach Thompson coming and in him being a former pitching coach. I feel that the coaching staff as a whole is the best staff to help develop me as a pitcher."
From just down the road in Montgomery, Alabama, Bright will make his way to The Plains next summer as the second-best pitcher and ninth-rated player in Alabama, according to Perfect Game.
"It's a great honor to be ranked as a top-10 player in the state," Bright added. "Alabama has great baseball talent and to be up there with some the best names in baseball in our state means a lot."
