For the third time this season and the second time in the last three weeks, Aly Tetzloff has been named the SEC's Women's Swimmer of the Week.
Tetzloff had a weekend to remember at the Auburn Invitational, winning a pair of events in career-best times.
The Crown Point, Ind., native won the 50 free in 22.08 and the 100 fly in 51.79.
Tetzloff's 50 free time is currently 11th-fastest in the nation. It also makes her the sixth-fastest performer with the 19th-fastest performance in Auburn history.
Tetzloff's 100 fly time is currently tied for ninth-fastest in the nation and makes her the fourth-fastest performer with the ninth-fastest performance in Auburn history.
Tetzloff's performance was part of a successful weekend of swims for Auburn's program at the Auburn Invitational. Auburn's women racked up 16 B cuts during the three-day meet while the men secured a whopping 27 B cuts.
Tetzloff had previously been named the SEC Women's Swimmer of the Week on Oct. 24 and Jan. 23.
Auburn heads to the SEC Championships next week. Held at Texas A&M's Student Recreation Center Natatorium, the championships run Wed., Feb. 14-Sun., Feb. 18. The final two days of the championships will air live on the SEC Network beginning at 6 p.m. CT each day.
