AUBURN, Ala. – Long-time collegiate gymnastics coach Bryan Raschilla has joined the Auburn gymnastics team as a volunteer coach, Jeff Graba announced Tuesday.
"We are extremely lucky and excited to have Bryan join our staff," Graba said. "He has a wealth of knowledge that I think will help us continue to grow our program. More importantly, he is a tremendous person and I believe a great fit for the Auburn gymnastics family."
On the Plains, Raschilla will be responsible for providing assistance in all events, database management and assisting all program camps.
"It's hard to put into words how excited I am about the opportunity to help Auburn gymnastics with coaches who have earned my respect by their hard work and tenacity over the years," Raschilla said. "I am really looking forward to working with the amazing student-athletes on the team and the great people who lead them."
Raschilla brings a long list of accolades to the Plains after spending the past 22 years with the Alabama gymnastics program. He spent the last four seasons as associate head coach in Tuscaloosa.
Raschilla helped guide Alabama to three NCAA championships in 2002, 2011 and 2012 as well as three runner-up finishes and 19 Super Six appearances. In addition, Alabama captured six Southeastern Conference titles with Raschilla on staff.
In addition to the team success, Raschilla has helped Alabama gymnasts capture 15 individual NCAA titles during his time with the Tide.
