AUBURN, Ala. – One of five products from neighboring Georgia, Seb Thomas is the latest signee to be announced by Auburn baseball and head coach Butch Thompson.
"Signing day was both a day full of pride and very humbling," Thomas said. "I was so proud to be wearing my Auburn hat and sharing the day with my family, coaches and friends. I was humbled by all the support and encouragement I received by everyone who came out to celebrate with me."
Thomas is a product of Brookhaven, Georgia, and makes his way to The Plains from Marist School. A 6-foot-5, right-handed pitcher, he helped lead his team to the 2016 Class 4A State Championship and was named 2018 Second Team All-State by Georgia Dugout Preview.
"I'm so ready to be at Auburn and to get started playing on Coach Thompson's team. This is an amazing opportunity to be coached by the best of the best on a team packed with such talented players and top notch coaches. Auburn baseball will continue to announce its 2019 signing class with the addition of new student-athletes during the next week.
The Tigers begin the 2019 campaign with a three-game series against Georgia Southern from Feb. 15-17.
