Costa Rica – everybody knows us for the beaches and the rain forest.
Why did you choose Auburn?
I chose Auburn because I really liked Coach Bobby and I got along so well with all the guys on the team right away.
Favorite part of campus life:
Athletics in general. I really like all the events and I have a lot of friends among the athletes of all the sports.
What does Auburn Family mean to you?
It means a lot. It means union and discipline and family in general

In the airport in Panama – I wasn't expecting that!
What's your major?
Industrial systems engineering
Most interesting class you have taken:
Physics
The secret to balancing school and tennis:
Getting things done as soon as you can, not leaving everything to the end, because, if not, everything's a mess
Eventual career goal after tennis:
I want to try for some professional tournaments, but beyond that, I want to be working here in the states or back home, wherever I get a good job
Age when you started tennis:
I started playing tennis when I was 6 or 7 years old. I started playing because of my older brother Federico (who played at Oklahoma). I always went to see him play and really liked it.
Your best tennis skill:
I'm fast
Favorite tennis player:
I've always looked up to Roger Federer
Sport you would play if not tennis?
I would for sure play soccer – I've been a fan and played all my life. I've played defense and offense both.
