AUBURN, Ala. – The last of three signees from John T. Morgan Academy, utility player Brayton Brown is set to join the Tigers and head coach Butch Thompson next fall.

"Signing day was a very special day for me," Brown said. "I'm excited to know I will be a part of the Auburn baseball program. It's always been a dream of mine to play in the SEC, and I'm so thankful Auburn has given me the opportunity to fulfill that dream. I look forward to working with Coach Thompson and the rest of the coaching staff as I further my academic and baseball career at Auburn."
 
Brown joins high school teammates Gunnar Henderson and David DuCote as Auburn signees from Morgan Academy. He is rated by Perfect Game as the No. 3 shortstop and No. 17 overall player in Alabama in the 2019 signing class.

The Tigers begin the 2019 campaign with a three-game series against Georgia Southern from Feb. 15-17.
