AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn women's basketball team faces its second straight top-25 opponent Sunday afternoon when the Tigers travel to Columbia, Mo., to face No. 25 Missouri. Game time is 2 p.m. CT at Mizzou Arena.
Auburn (15-4, 3-3 SEC) dropped a heartbreaker to No. 24 Texas A&M at home Thursday night when the Aggies scored just before the buzzer to take a 69-67 win at Auburn Arena. The Tigers had rallied from a 11-point deficit with less than five minutes to play to tie the game.
The Tigers seek to remain unbeaten on the road in SEC play; all three Auburn conference wins have come away from home with victories at Florida, Alabama and Vanderbilt. Going back to non-conference play, Auburn has won eight straight games away from home, including six true road games.
Missouri (15-6, 4-3) comes into Sunday's game having dropped two straight games on the road against top-20 opponents. Missouri lost at No. 19 South Carolina on Monday night and at No. 15 Kentucky on Thursday. The two teams met at Auburn Arena last year with then-No. 13 Missouri taking a 59-51 win.
Andy Burcham and Brit Bowen will have the radio call beginning at 1:45 p.m. CT on WTGZ 93.9 FM, online at AuburnTigers.com and on the Auburn Tigers mobile app. The game can also be seen on SEC Network +, available via WatchESPN.com or the ESPN app.
