AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn women's basketball team begins a two-game SEC road swing Sunday afternoon when the Tigers travel to Gainesville, Fla., to face the Florida Gators. Game time is noon CT at the O'Connell Center.

The Tigers (12-2, 0-1 SEC) look to bounce back from a 78-69 setback at the hands of No. 10 Tennessee Thursday night where all five Auburn starters scored in double-figures but the Tigers' bench came up empty. Unique Thompson picked up her seventh double-double of the season with 19 points and 12 rebounds, but the Lady Vols pulled away in the last five minutes to snap Auburn's nine-game winning streak.

Sunday's game will be a homecoming for senior guard Janiah McKay. The Gainesville native will play at the O-Dome in front of her hometown fans for the final time as a Tiger. Last season, in Auburn's 84-55 victory over the Gators at Auburn Arena, McKay scored a game-high 25 points and also dished out five assists as the Tigers rallied from an early 16-point deficit.

Florida (4-10, 0-1 SEC) dropped its conference opener at Alabama, 74-67, on Thursday night. The Gators are led by senior Funda Nakkasoglu, the SEC's second-leading scorer and top 3-point shooter, who averages 18.8 points/game and shoots 50 percent (41-of-82) from 3-point range.

Andy Burcham will be courtside with Brit Bowen in the studio for the radio broadcast on WTGZ 93.9 FM and online at AuburnTigers.com beginning at 11:45 a.m. CT. Paul Sunderland and Blair Schaefer will call the action live on SEC Network.
