Auburn University and Delta Air Lines officials cut the ribbon as part of a dedication ceremony on November 16, 2018 for the new Delta Air Lines Aviation Education Building at Auburn University Regional Airport. The  Auburn-Opelika Regional Airport has grown dramatically over the last decade. A new terminal building on the east side of the building and now the Delta Air Lines Aviation Education Building has just opened. The Auburn property is owned by Auburn University, the cities of Auburn and Opelika along with Lee County help govern the regional airport.
 
Dr. Bill Hutto is the airport's director and also serves as the aviation center director. Recently Delta Air Lines became a corporate donor at Auburn. The new Delta Air Lines Aviation Education Building is a state of the art facility for Auburn University students and faculty. Dr Bill Hutto is first on this Talking Tigers Podcast.
