AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn softball coach Mickey Dean would like to welcome fans to Jane B. Moore Field Saturday afternoon for a "preview day."
Fans will be able to come watch the softball team prepare for its upcoming season with an intersquad scrimmage and an opportunity to pick up a 2019 schedule poster that can be signed by the players. Admission is free with weather permitting.
Gates will open at 11 a.m. with simulated scrimmage starting at 12 p.m. The scrimmage will last an estimated two hours followed by an autograph session.
Auburn will open the 2019 season against Tennessee State on Feb. 8 at Gulf Shores in the Sand Dollar Classic. The Tigers will open their home schedule on Feb. 14 when they play UAB to begin the Plainsman Invitational.
Single-game and mini-pack tickets for the 2019 softball season are still available.
