WAIKOLOA, Hawai'i – The No. 13 Auburn men's golf team closed the Amer Ari Invitational in style as it produced the best round of the day by any team at 14-under in its final circuit of the par-72 Kings' Course.

The Tigers moved up to second and finished just 10 shots off the lead at 37-under (279-274-274--827). No. 1 Oklahoma State won the event at 47-under (817).

"I'm super proud of the team this week and they were very resilient," Auburn head coach Nick Clinard said. "The course played much tougher today with 20-mph winds and the guys managed their games well. I like this team and we are going to continue to improve as the spring moves forward. Encouraging each other and playing hard for the brand is our motto all spring."

Auburn was highlighted by four top-20 finishers in Trace Crowe, Jacob Solomon, Jovan Rebula and Graysen Huff.

Crowe, who tied for sixth, carded the lowest round by any Tiger with a 5-under 67 to finish at 12-under (68-69-67--204) for the tournament. The senior tied for the team lead with six birdies, including four on the front nine, in his final tour of the course.

Solomon notched his third top-10 finish of the season as he ended in 10th at 9-under (71-67-69--207). The senior also carded six birdies spread evenly through the front and back nine.

Rebula, who was one shot back of Solomon, capped his first spring tournament at 8-under (69-71-68--208) for 11th. The junior's lowest score of the weekend mirrored Solomon's as he turned in three birdies on the front nine and three birdies on the back nine.
