AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 10 Auburn men's golf team is set to host the annual Tiger Invitational, Feb. 24-26. The event will take place at the par-72, 7,289-yard Grand National Lake Course.
"We are looking forward to hosting the 2019 Tiger Invitational at Grand National," Auburn head coach Nick Clinard said. "The golf course is in great shape and it will be another excellent test for our team. It's always nice to play at home in front of friends and fans at a great venue."
The Tiger Invitational is free to attend and open to the public. Grand National hosted a PGA Tour event from 2015-17.
Auburn, which will field two teams, is joined on the course by No. 6 SMU, No. 21 Arkansas State, Austin Peay, Chattanooga, Florida Atlantic, Georgia State, Kennesaw State, Lipscomb, Mercer, Missouri, South Alabama, ULM, UNCW and Western Kentucky.
Ten players will compete for the Tigers. Trace Crowe, Graysen Huff, Brandon Mancheno, Jovan Rebula and Jacob Solomon make up Auburn's lineup. The Tigers will begin off the first tee with SMU and South Alabama, beginning at 9:30 a.m. CT.
Ryan Knop, Andrew Kozan, Jake Milanowski, Wells Padgett and Marcus Svensson will take part as individuals. The individuals will tee off in groups of three from the 10th tee box, starting at 9:40 a.m. CT.
Auburn recently finished second at the Amer Ari Invitational, which featured five top-15 teams. Crowe was named the Southeastern Conference Golfer of the Week after tying for sixth at 12-under.
Solomon and Rebula finished 10th and 11th at 9-under and 8-under, respectively.
