Minnesota Tops Men's Tennis

AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn men's tennis came out on the short end of a 7-0 match with Minnesota Sunday afternoon in non-conference action at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
                     
The Gophers captured the closely contested doubles point with victories on courts one and two.

In singles, Tad Maclean on court three and Anders Fry on court six took their first sets, and Brandon Laubser won a first-set tiebreaker on court two over Stefan Milicevic. Playing on court one, Filippo Mora took his first set to a tiebreaker, and three matches went to third sets before Minnesota clinched the team win.

Auburn is now 9-3 on the season, while Minnesota goes to 5-1. The Tigers return to action next Friday, February 8, in a 5:30 p.m. match at Florida State.
