No. 13 Auburn takes aim at Valspar Collegiate

AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 13 Auburn men's golf is set to take aim at the Valspar Collegiate, March 17-19, in Palm City, Fla. The annual three-round event takes place at Floridian National Golf Club - a par 71, 7,114-yard course.

"We are excited to participate in the Valspar Collegiate at the Floridian this weekend," Auburn head coach Nick Clinard said. "It's an excellent course and arguably the best tournament field in the country. The team has looked really sharp the last few days preparing and we look forward to the opportunity to compete."

Trace Crowe, Graysen Huff, Wells Padgett, Jovan Rebula and Jacob Solomon round out the lineup for the Tigers this weekend. Andrew Kozan will also compete as an individual.

Auburn is one of 10 teams ranked in this year's 15-team field at the Valspar Collegiate. Joining the Tigers on the course is No. 1 Oklahoma State, No. 2 Duke, No. 3 Vanderbilt, No. 6 Wake Forest, No. 8 Texas, No. 9 Georgia Tech, No. 11 LSU, No. 20 USF, No. 23 Baylor, Arkansas, Florida State, Houston and South Carolina.

The Tigers have begun their spring season strong as they have recorded two top-two finishes, including winning the Tiger Invitational.
