AUBURN, Ala. – The 2018-19 women's basketball regular season comes to a close Sunday when Auburn travels to Baton Rouge, La., to face LSU. Game time is 2 p.m. CT at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

The Tigers (20-8, 8-7 SEC) can clinch a winning record in SEC play for the first time since 2009 with a victory at LSU (16-11, 7-8). SEC Tournament seeding is also on the line for 12 of the 14 league teams on the final day of the season.

With a win, Auburn would be either the No. 6 or 7 seed in next week's SEC Tournament in Greenville, S.C., depending on the outcome of Sunday's Kentucky-Georgia game. A loss would lock the Tigers in as the No. 8 seed.

Auburn is also in position to potentially set a pair of program records. A victory in Baton Rouge would be Auburn's sixth road win in SEC play this year, eclipsing a pair of five-win road records in 1989 and 2009 as the most in program history. The Tigers are also just four made 3-pointers away from setting the team record for the most made 3-point field goals in a season (181 in 2016-17).

LSU is coming off a loss at Mississippi State in their last game on Thursday night. Auburn and LSU met twice last season, splitting the two contests with each team winning on their home court.

Andy Burcham, Larry DiChiara and J.J. Jackson will have the radio call of Sunday's game beginning at 1:45 p.m. CT on WTGZ 93.9 FM and online at AuburnTigers.com and the Auburn Athletics mobile app. The game can also be seen on SEC Network +, available via WatchESPN.com and the ESPN app.
