Auburn baseball 2019 signing class: Johnny Ceccoli

AUBURN, Ala. – Texas native Johnny Ceccoli is the newest member of Auburn's 2019 signing class, head coach Butch Thompson and the program announced Wednesday.

Ceccoli, who was originally in the high school class of 2020, reclassified to the class of 2019 and will join the Tigers next fall. He is rated the No. 31 overall player and No. 1 first baseman in Texas by Perfect Game.

"I like the winning culture Coach Thompson is building at Auburn along with a great staff of coaches that care about each player," Ceccoli said. "It felt like a great fit from the beginning, and I'm excited to join the program."
