AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 9 Auburn men's golf team will look to continue its successful run at The Hayt, March 31-April 1. The Tigers will play two rounds on Sunday and close out the competition at the par-72 Sawgrass Country Club on Monday.
Auburn has played in The Hayt twice in program history, winning the event last year and placing second in 2011.
"The John Hayt Invitational at Sawgrass CC will be a great test against another exceptional field," Auburn head coach Nick Clinard said. "The golf course is in superb shape and we are looking forward to competing this week in Florida."
The Tigers are joined by No. 17 North Florida (host), No. 19 Clemson, No. 21 Alabama, No. 22 Louisville, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Jacksonville, NC State, North Carolina, North Texas, Purdue, TCU, Tennessee and UAB.
Auburn's lineup features Trace Crowe, Graysen Huff, Brandon Mancheno, Wells Padgett and Jacob Solomon. Andrew Kozan and Marcus Svensson will also compete as individuals.
The Tigers are coming off a second-place finish at the Valspar Collegiate in which they finished ahead of eight ranked teams.
Auburn is paired up with Alabama, North Florida and Purdue in foursomes, beginning at 6:40 a.m. CT off the first tee. Live scoring is available on Golfstat.com.
