AUGUSTA, Ga. – Former Auburn men's golfer Patton Kizzire is tied for 12th at 4-under following Friday's second round at The Masters. Current Tiger Jovan Rebula concluded his first experience on the biggest stage in golf after missing the cut after 36 holes.

Kizzire fired his second consecutive round of a 2-under 70 in his second tour of the par-72 course. Despite carding a bogey on the opening hole, Kizzire was flawless on the final 17 holes by turning in 14 pars and three birdies.

The former Southeastern Conference champion tied for fourth in the field by hitting 15 of 18 greens in regulation Friday afternoon.

Kizzire is just three shots off the lead and will tee off his third round with Jon Rahm at 12:55 p.m. CT.

Rebula wrapped up his first experience at The Masters following his second 18 holes. The George, South Africa turned in a 7-over 79 to finish at 8-over.

Rebula, however, finished ahead of notable PGA Tour players Angel Cabrera, Paul Casey, Jose Maria Olazabal and Vijay Singh.

After playing in the British Open and The Masters, Rebula has earned one more exemption for the 2018-19 PGA Tour season through his victory at the British Amateur last summer. The junior will take aim at the U.S. Open, June 13-16, at Pebble Beach.
