Darkness suspends first round of Shoal Creek Invitational

SHOAL CREEK, Ala. – The first round of the Shoal Creek Invitational was suspended due to darkness Monday evening at Shoal Creek Country Club.

Eight of the nine Auburn golfers were able to complete their first round at the par-72 course.

The Tigers stand at 21-over as a team when play was halted. Wells Padgett led the way with a 3-over 75, while Trace Crowe produced a 5-over 77.

Playing as individuals, Graysen Huff shot a 1-under 71 and Andrew Kozan carded a 2-over 74. Marcus Svensson is at 3-under with three holes remaining in his first circuit of the course.

The completion of the first round, as well as the second and final rounds, will take place Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. CT. Live scoring is available on Golfstat.com.
