Auburn improved to 10-8 in SEC play with the series win vs. Ole Miss and is two games out of first place in the SEC West … the series win was the Tigers fifth straight against the Rebels at Plainsman Park … the extra-inning game in the finale was Auburn's fourth this season (2-2) … Auburn hit four home runs against the Rebels, tying for the most in a conference series this season (Mississippi State) … Edouard Julien matched a season-high with four RBI in the series opener and drove in six runs on the weekend … he has driven in multiple runs in 14 games this season … Julien hit his team-best eighth homer of the season in the seventh inning of the series opener … Cody Greenhill earned his ninth save of the season in the opener, including his league-best seventh in conference play … Greenhill picked up the win in the finale … Davis' two-home-run game Friday was the first of his career and the second by an Auburn player this season (Julien) … Holland also homered in the contest as Auburn tied a season-high with three in the game … Matt Scheffler collected four hits and scored four runs against the Rebels … he went 2-for-4 with two runs in the finale, including the go-ahead run in the seventh and tying run in the 10th … Jack Owen made his first appearance since Mar. 16 and turned in 2.1 scoreless, hitless innings with a walk and a strikeout in the finale … Kason Howell extended his on-base streak to 17 games … Rankin Woley matched a season-high with three hits at Georgia Tech and collected two more in the series opener vs. Ole Miss … the Tigers play four games in a span of five days again this week with a midweek contest at Jacksonville State Tuesday and a three-game series at No. Vanderbilt from Thursday through Saturday.
