AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn national champion equestrian team will be honored with a celebration at Toomer's Corner Tuesday, April 23, at 6 p.m. CT.
Fans are encouraged to join the team as they celebrate by rolling the trees surrounding Toomer's Corner. Toilet paper will fly following a presentation from head coach Greg Williams and members of the team. The entire squad along with the coaches will be in attendance.
Fans are encouraged to bring their own rolls to throw.
The Auburn Tigers finished the 2018-19 season with a perfect 18-0 record. That is a feat no other equestrian team has done in the history of the sport.
In addition to the national championship, the Tigers brought home two more trophies from Waco. The team captured the Equitation on the Flat and overall Hunter Seat crowns. Auburn also won the 2019 Southeastern Conference championship in March.
