CHICAGO – Auburn soccer standouts Bri Folds and Alyssa Malonson have been named to the U.S. Under-23 Women's National Team roster, the team announced over the weekend.

The team will head to La Manga, Spain for the three matches at the 2019 Women's International U-23 La Manga Tournament and will face the U-23 squads from Sweden on Apr. 5, France on Apr. 7 and Italy on Apr. 9.

Folds and Malonson are two of 14 collegiate players to make the roster, and Auburn is the only program with more than one representative.

Folds led Auburn with nine goals and 25 points a season ago en route to earning All-SEC, All-Southeast Region and All-American honors. She became the sixth player in program history to be named an All-American.

Six of Folds' nine goals were game-winners, which tied the program's single-season record. The Lakeland, Florida native played and started in 19 of the team's 20 matches and logged 1,574 minutes of action on the pitch. She also ranked second on the team with seven assists.

Malonson was named Second Team All-SEC after leading the team and ranking third in the conference with eight assists. She also played a large role on the defensive side of the field and helped lead the team to nine shutouts.

The Spring, Texas native played and started in all 20 matches and saw a team-high 1,822 minutes of action. She was one of two players to earn the team's Iron Woman award for her endurance on the field.
