KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tannon Snow continued her productivity at the plate as she went 4-for-4 with two home runs, a triple and seven runs batted in as No. 13 Auburn beat No. 5 Tennessee 10-5.

Snow became the first Auburn softball player with seven RBI in a game since Kasey Cooper drove in seven against Arkansas on April 17, 2016. It also marks the second time this season the Chino Hills, Calif., native has hit two home runs in a game (Furman, Feb. 17). Her seven RBI set a career high, surpassing her previous of four against North Dakota State (Feb. 23) earlier this season.

The victory snaps a six-game losing streak to Tennessee in Knoxville. It's Auburn's first win in Knoxville since 2011.

Auburn (31-7, 7-3) took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning when Casey McCrackin scored on a fielding error by the Tennessee catcher. Kendall Veach followed when Alyssa Rivera grounded out to second. The Volunteers (28-7, 6-4) answered in their half of the first with a single from Chelsea Seggern and a groundout from Ashley Rogers.

Tennessee added three more in the bottom of the second with a two-out single from Callin Hannon and a double from Seggern.

However, Ashlee Swindle (9-3), who entered the game in the bottom of the first, kept Tennessee's offense at bay for the remainder of the game as she allowed only two hits the remainder of the game. Swindle ended the game by retiring 12 straight Volunteers.

Tan. Snow struck in the top of third with a two-out, two-run home run to cut Auburn's deficit. Two innings later, Tan. Snow hit her second two-run home run of the game to give Auburn a 6-5 lead.

The Tiger lead was padded with a four-run top of the seventh, including a three-run triple from Tan. Snow. Four of Tan. Snow's RBI came via her sister, Taylon Snow, who finished 3 of 4 at the plate, but reached base courtesy of a fielder's choice in the seventh.

Auburn will look for the series win when the two teams square off Sunday night at 5 p.m. CST/6 p.m. EST.
