COLLEGE STATION, Texas – With the 2019 regular season now in the rear-view mirror, No. 24 Auburn now turns its sight to the upcoming Southeastern Conference Tournament, hosted by Texas A&M.
The 10th-seeded Tigers (35-18, 10-14) will begin play on Wednesday, May 8 at 3 p.m., weather pending, against seventh-seeded Missouri (32-22, 12-12). The winner advances to play second-seeded Tennessee (39-13, 14-10).
The game can be seen on the SEC Network with Adam Amin (play by play), Amanda Scarborough (analyst) and Tiffany Greene (sideline reporter) on the call or heard on the Auburn Sports Network with Brit Bowen and Brad Law on the Auburn radio call.
Missouri has an 8-7 advantage in the all-time series history with Auburn, including a 5-4 and 5-1 win over the Tigers in 2018. Earlier this season, Auburn took two of three games from the Volunteers in Knoxville.
"I'm excited," said Auburn softball head coach Mickey Dean. "I'm excited to see the adrenaline."
Auburn enters the SEC Tournament with a 19-23 (.452) all-time record, and won conference tournament champions in 2015 and 2016.

- On Tuesday, Kendall Veach and Casey McCrackin were honored by the SEC as Veach was named to the All-SEC Second Team at catcher while McCrackin picked up All-Defensive honors at second base.
- Veach enters the postseason having hit 20 home runs on the season. The Selma, Ala., native is just one of three Auburn Tigers to have hit 20 home runs in a single season (Kasey Cooper, 2015; Jada Rhodes (2016) and sits one home run behind tying Cooper's single-season mark.
- Through 53 games in the 2019 season, Auburn's offense has scored 305 runs, which is the sixth most in a single season by a Tiger team. Prior to this season, only five teams in program history have scored 300-or-more runs in one season.
