AUBURN, Ala. – Current and former members of the Auburn swimming team enjoyed a successful weekend at a pair of long course meets around the country, swimming at the Pro Swim Series in Indiana and the Atlanta Classic.

2019 TYR Pro Swim Series

Contested in Bloomington, Indiana, the Indiana Pro Swim Series saw rising senior Julie Meynen win the B Final of the 100m free in 55.34 after qualifying 12th in 56.33. The Luxembourg native then grabbed a silver medal behind Olympic gold medalist Simone Manuel in the 50m free with a 25.13 after qualifying sixth (25.62).

Aly Tetzloff, who recently completed her career at Auburn, earned a bronze medal in the 50m fly in 26.77. She had qualified third with a 27.10.

Former Tiger Luis Martinez broke his own Guatemalan record in the 100m fly during prelims with a 51.64, which seeded him first. He then held his spot in the finals, winning gold with a 51.81 to win by almost a full second.

Atlanta Classic

Competing at Georgia Tech's McAuley Aquatic Center, multiple current members of the team swam in their first long course meet of the season, swimming many lifetime bests.
