AUBURN, Ala. Conner Pruitt completed his stay at the 2019 USA Diving Nationals with a semifinal appearance on the 3-meter on Thursday afternoon.

Pruitt, who will be a sophomore on Auburn's swimming and diving team in the fall, finished 15th in the 3-meter semifinals after qualifying 10th.

"I'm really proud of Conner's accomplishments this year," Auburn diving coach Jeff Shaffer said. "Conner was not as consistent in his dives as he was in prelims. There is more work to do but I'm really proud of him."

Pruitt (Opelika/Opelika HS) had qualified for Nationals with second-place finishes on both the 1-meter and 3-meter during last weekend's National Qualifying meet.

Pruitt paired Thursday's 15th-place finish with a 22nd-place finish on the 1-meter on Wednesday.
